Poliwater is a practical cast in the form of a sleeve. Thanks to its water-activated cross-linking technology, the dressing is easy and fast to apply. Its openwork construction ensures excellent air permeability and prevents skin maceration improving patient comfort.
The waterproof nature of the Poliwater additionally eliminates difficulties associated with bathing – it allows the patient to use the shower and pool freely throughout the treatment process.

INSTRUCTIONS
The process of applying the Poliwater cast is extremely easy and
takes about 7 minutes

Remove the gypsum
backing from the packaging.
Roll it out into the shape of doughnut
with a hole in it to make it easier
to put on on the limb.
Roll the padding over the limb.

Remove the Poliwater from its packaging, cut
into the thumb area if necessary and adjust it to the patient by shortening
it using scissors.

Roll it out so that it resembles a doughnut with a
hole. Dip the dressing in water at 21-24°C for 3-5
seconds and shake it a few times after removing.

Roll out the Polywater on the limb, roll out the
padding over it (this is to protect the limb from
abrasion). Smooth and shape the Polwater.
Wait 30 minutes (or as as advised by your doctor).
